I wanted to take a minute to acknowledge some of our favorite festivals of the year 2013.  It was a long season.  We ended up working 22 events of varying sizes.  Some were lots of fun and we made good money.  Others.. well, not so much... 

Anyway, here are a few of our favorites:

Favorite new event for Festi-Cab-Camp Barefoot Music & Arts Festival 7 near Bartow WV 
This was their 7th event but the first time Festi-Cab worked it.  This was an exceptional event with exceptional music situated in the absolutely beautiful Appalachian Mountains.  The people were some of the nicest we've encountered and I just truly enjoyed being at and working this event.

What can I say about Wakarusa?  We've been working it for quite a few years and overall it's just the event that feels like home to me.  We stay busy, people appreciate our service, and they know us well.  It's also a very well-organized event that ALWAYS has a solid music lineup and is  held in one of the prettier venues on Mulberry Mountain in rural Arkansas.  This year they even had to deal with some serious rain but they did everything within their power to make that as easy a situation as possible.  Anybody that was there knows it wasn't easy.  Our hats off to Waka!

Honorable Mentionl-Hyperion Music & Arts Festival near Spencer IN

Anybody that knows, knows that putting on a festival is not an easy task.  It comes with a huge amount of responsibility and endless tasks and small details.  So, I'd like to commend Hyperion for doing a great job on it's 2nd year event.  Overall, everything went very smoothly, they put lots of effort into their decorations (reminded me of Electric Forest), and had some great bands playing.  Kudos to Hyperion!
